Help build the Cabrera Community Center

Children and Adult Learning center. The land is being provided rent free by the PONA Foundation for the purpose of building a k-12 specialized school and community center. The center will be focused on providing education to those remaining in the community after completing their education. A big focus on education in the fields of language, engineering, arts and sustainability. The center will act as a k-12 school during the day and adult classes in the evening. PONA is looking for several levels of funding: ·

•  Phase 1. Architect to help design the community center. Estimated cost for plans and cost estimate to build are $4,000. If we find an architect to trade his time for vouchers we will move funds to next phase. · 

• Phase 2. Clear a field for a temporary soccer field to be used by the local soccer leagues until we raise enough funds to start the community center. Guest can also help by donating soccer supplies such as balls, nets, cones etc….See "Get Involved" for detailed needs. Estimated cost to level the ground, plant grass, and goal post and equipment is $1,500

• Phase 3. Start construction once enough funds are secured to start building classrooms. Closer estimate of cost coming after designs are done.
